Established in 2002, Living Silk is a clothing boutique that specializes in dresses and two-piece outfits for the Mother of the Bride / Groom.
Exuding elegance and sophistication, our garments are perfect for the second most important woman on a wedding day, who deserves to feel just as beautiful as the bride.
If you’re a Mother of the Bride / Groom attending a beach, country, rustic, garden, restaurant, vineyard, cocktail or formal wedding, in Spring / Summer or Autumn / Winter, we have something perfect for you.
If you’re not a Mother of the Bride / Groom or a bride, you can still browse our collection for a special occasion. Bursting with an array of colors and styles, our collection is ideal for day or night event dressing. Theatres, concerts, galas, cocktail parties, birthday parties, and celebratory lunches and dinners are just some of the places you can wear our garments.
Living Silk is based in Brisbane Australia and we proudly ship all over the world, so women from across the globe can experience the elegance of Living Silk. Our Pure Silk
Just as our name suggests, the majority of our dresses and two-piece outfits are 100% pure, hand woven and hand dyed silk. This intricate process ensures each piece is of the highest quality and color vibrancy. From pinks, blues and neural tones to black and white, we stock colors to suit all skin tones and personal preferences.
Pure silk is perfect for event dressing as it has a subtle shine, luxurious feel, and flattering fit. It’s also extremely versatile, as it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter; our garments, therefore, can be worn all year round and will serve you well whatever the weather.

For the US, our garment general sizing is listed below:
XS - 4
S - 6
M - 8
L - 10
XL - 12
XXL - 14
Each product has its own size chart on the product page, with more detailed specific measurements.
We also offer a Made to Measure service for plus size ladies, where we make garments according to your personal measurements. To use this service, simply choose an outfit, take your measurements following our measurement chart, order the outfit using the M2M icon, then send your measurement chart to owner Olivia (at shop@livingsilk.com) with your name and order number.
Your garment will be quality checked three times by our professional dressmakers, then sent to you within four weeks of placing your order.
Shipping
Living Silk is proud to offer COMPLIMENTARY worldwide shipping, so you don’t have to pay any extra to get your dream garment to your door.
If your garment is in stock when you place your order, we’ll dispatch your parcel within two business days of receipt of your order. Once dispatched, we’ll send you an email with tracking details so you can follow the progress of your delivery. Shipping time from Australia to the US is approximately four business days (we ship via DHL Express)
If your garment needs to be made, we’ll contact you within one business day to advise you when your garment/s will be ready for shipping.
